UNESCO sites navigator

      The GIS data of UNESCO-designated sites presented here has been collected and validated by the respective secretariats. Polygons have been generated by the States or, for certain natural and mixed World Heritage sites, by IUCN, and have been verified against the delimitations adopted by the governing bodies of the respective designations. These datasets remain a work in progress: some polygons are missing either because they have not yet been submitted by the State(s) concerned, or because they are still under review or adjustment in coordination with UNESCO and the concerned State(s). Due to the complexity of certain polygons, loading may take slightly longer for some locations.
